The Final Conference 2019 of the ERASMUS + project (LMPT) in Paris, France

On September 30 to October 5, 2019, the Final Conference of the ERASMUS + project “Development of Bachelor, Master program for Full Time and Distance Learning for Sustainable Tourism Development in China, Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan (LMPT)” N° 573897-EPP-1-2016-1-BG-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP and the annual Salon de tourisme international exhibition, were held in port de Versailles, Paris, France.

The aim of the visit was participation on the Final Conference to discuss project outcomes, final report issues and participation on International Tourism Exhibition to widen networking between universities and tourism enterprises abroad. Zhazgul Estebes kyzy, head of IRO KEU represented KEU and participated both in the meeting and event.

Overall 24 project partners participated in the implementation of the project from France, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, China, Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyz Partners are: Kyrgyz Economic University, ADAM University, Kyrgyz State Issyk-Kul University, and Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism, Ministry of Education of the KR, AISEC, “Ru Ven Tour”, and Silk Road Tourism Association.

The Project work plan was implemented dully and recognized by National Erasmus+ Office as one of the successful projects which reached its objectives.
The General Objectives of the project were: promoting the reform and modernization of higher education in partner countries; improving the quality and relevance of higher education in partner countries; encouraging of the human resources development; improvement of the higher education institutions and research institutes network between Partner Countries and EU Member Countries; modernization of the identified priority academic disciplines of curricula by partner countries, through the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), the three-cycle system (BA-MA-PhD) and the diploma recognition.
