Our virtual courses are conducted using Webex or Zoom (for courses with Russian interpretation) platforms. The webinars and exercises take approximately 3.5 - 4 hours daily and are delivered during weekday afternoons Vienna time (CES). Applicants are highly encouraged to consider the possibility of applying to virtual courses when attending onsite courses may not be an option.

Benefits:

  • Small classroom setting with lively discussions
  • Applicants will get to know the instructors who would be teaching the face-to-face course in the future
  • No need to travel - courses can be taken from home or the office
  • Prepares you for and may increase the chance to be selected for the face-to-face course
  • Participation in virtual courses does not prevent selection to the same face-to-face course in the future

*Onsite Courses: Kindly note that the JVI plans to resume classroom training as soon as the COVID-19 health situation allows. These courses are scheduled to take place at the JVI, but may have to be delivered virtually in case safe travel to and onsite training in Vienna is not possible. The decision to offer virtual instead of onsite training will be made within two months of the course start date.

Take your learning further with IMF online courses to prepare for the upcoming JVI courses and earn certificates!
